I need to spend more time looking at my website and creating the games.
Idea for the ring binder cover; The back will give details of the website and when they order the ring binder it will include stickers, welcome page, one activity sheet, phot wallets for the children to put the photos they take and sugar paper for children to do rubbings with.

Wall Chart - This will reward children for doing things right. It will help them stick to daily routines and encourage them to collect things and help parents around the house. They will only get a well done sticker if they complete a row for the whole week. Chores they can help out with will be bringing some of the dirty washing to the washing machine, helping dry the dishes, bring their plate to the kitchen once they have finished, tidy toys, tidy clothes etc. . .
This activity gives children a chance to notice and discuss patterns. Parents can continue the pattern discussion around the house and ask the children to point out everything they can see with patterns. The sugar paper that will be in the ring binder will enable children to further the pattern investigation by doing rubbings from bricks, tree bark, grates and look what patterns they make.
With this activity children are sorting the animals by different criteria. They can discuss with parents why different animals live in different parts of the world. I am looking at doing certain information sheets on animals explaining their habitat, size and qualities. Children will distinguish that some animals live in a zoo, a farm or are a pet. Parents may have to explain why some animals have become pets like rabbits and goats; as children may be confused.
Encouraging children to look at and explain why the ginger bread men are different and choose which one has the longest legs - Looking at differences in size.
Children are again discussing the differences and mistakes in the four images. They will have to match the heads and bodies up using colour, size, gender, similarities.
This is going to be a spot the difference image. An example of some of the illustrations that will be included on my website and activity book.

These illustrations will be turned into an activity sheet looking at how living things change over time. Children can look at pictures from when they were little and compare how they have changed from a baby - 2yrs - 4yrs. I will note that these changes can't be reversed and give an example of substances that can go through changes that can be reversed such as ice.
Examples of the my two protagonist characters - Dee and Scover. I have illustrated them in a range of different roles. I am going to produce an activity sheet/game where the children have to name what jobs the bisckidz have in their different uniforms.I may include seeds in the folder and encourage children to plant them and look after them. They will feel rewarded when the flower starts to grow. I will do a page explaining how plants need plenty of sunlight and water to live.

Bisckidz is an online website for parents to visit and entertain their children whilst at home. It is aimed at predominantly 3-4 year old pre school children. When finished I aim to create an interactive website with downloadable activity sheets, 1-2 online games, a parents area and a ring binder which can be ordered which will include a wall chart, paper hight chart, sugar paper, photo wallets and stickers.
I began by designing the characters my website will be based around. Two gingerbread children Dee and Scover (discover) as I am focusing my work topics on the Foundation Stage of the curriculum - Knowledge and Understanding of the World.
As my characters were ginger bread man I decided to see how easy it was to bake them (The receipe will be downloadable also)
